Every year, your home needs a dozen different services.
VisualQuick icons or labels for the different jobs a home needs during the year pop up one after another. This sets up the idea that these all cost money, which the next beat adds up.
Problem
0:03 - 0:08Stakes11w · 132 wpm
Add up what they cost you. It's more than you think.
VisualThis is the first intro of the counter. As the voice says 'add up what they cost you,' the costs stack up and a number counter climbs on screen. It stops on $1,178, what a homeowner already spends in a year. Use this exact same counter later when we add and stack the included value from the 6 services he's offering. They should look and feel like the same object, because this early number is the problem and the saving of paying for a pass is the answer to it later.
0:08 - 0:13Stakes12w · 144 wpm
And next year, you do it all again. Full price, every time.
VisualSomething that makes the viewer feel the burden of paying this every year.
Solution
0:13 - 0:18Reveal12w · 144 wpm
That's why we built Home Service Pass. All your home services. One pass.
VisualThis is the first time we show the app. Phone floating on screen with the logo on it, kept simple and clean so people instantly get that it's an app. Maybe a few clean pieces of the dashboard components or service icons hover on around or on the sides of the floating phone.
0:18 - 0:22The offer10w · 150 wpm
Your membership includes six home services at no additional cost.
VisualThis part is carried mostly by bringing the counter back. But with each service quickly appearing on the screen one after the other. As each one lands, a single running value counter (in the corner, or wherever looks best) keeps climbing. The counter shows the running total, not a price on each service. - Pest Control - Window Washing - Home Cleaning - Carpet Cleaning - Bin Cleaning - Garage Door Tune-Up (Each have a green checkmark 'INCLUDED' badge.) The counter continues increasining until it lands on "$1,178 included value"

VisualSpace to breathe and visualize the value comparison. The counter climbs and stops on '$1,178 Included Value.' Hold there a moment, then the number drops down to the price of the home service pass ($349).
0:29 - 0:32Value landsSilent (breathe)
No narration.
VisualThe gap between the two numbers (what they WOULD be paying, and the price of the Pass) is the whole point. *Keep the services and the final number easy to edit/change for other future iterations. (the price may change / the six free services could become seven if another one is added in the future).*

The membership can pay for itself, on day one.
VisualSmall pause in the voiceover between 'itself' and 'on day one.' By now, the price is already on screen from the counter dropping ($1,178 down to about $349), so when the voice says 'pays for itself' . it should be complimented with a way to visualize/introduce that this $349 is the member pass. (maybe a card or UI component).

VisualA fast burst of more service categories filling the screen one after another: - HVAC, - Electrical - Roofing - Concrete - Painting - Flooring - Plumbing - Landscaping - Windows - Home Security - Interior Design - Automotive - Pet Services ending on -'and more.' The point is to show how many different kinds of jobs are covered.

Plus, exclusive member perks that keep adding up.
VisualThe member perks stack up on screen one by one: - Priority Scheduling - Complimentary Consultations - Preferred Member Pricing - Exclusive Upgrades - Seasonal Promotions - Member-Only Offers. STILL TO DECIDE: do we show these as clean text and icons we design, or as recreated versions of the real cards in the app (the app shows things like 'concrete up to $1,000 off + priority scheduling')

Proof brands (Secondary)
If there's time / space for it in the "PROOF" section towards the end of the video where the reviews are going Brad may want to add recognized brand logo (e.g. the top-10 home-security company). This is secondary and would ened to confirm with Brad which brands can be shown before animating.

What this is

This storyboard is a planning and alignment tool, not a final version of the video. Its purpose is to confirm accuracy and visual alignment before animation begins.
What we're reviewing here
Accuracy of the UI, screens, and product states
Correct pairing of copy with visuals
Scene order, pacing, and structure
The overall visual direction of the video
What this is not
Final animation
Final motion design
Final polish, depth, or transitions
The visuals shown are intentionally simplified. Some frames may appear static, include placeholders, or feel minimal. This is expected. Depth, motion, transitions, and refinement are developed during the animation phase, once alignment is approved.
How to read this

Reading the storyboard

Each frame pairs with its line

The image is what is on screen; the text under it is what is being said at that moment.

Timecodes are placement

Rough timing so the pacing can be felt. Exact timing gets tuned in animation.

Notes get added live

Anything decided on the call is captured on the frame it belongs to, so nothing gets lost going into animation.

The board

The storyboard

The homeowner video in order, top to bottom. Every frame sits under the line being spoken over it, with early animation ideas noted where they exist; frames without a line are silent, visual-only moments.
